The Dragon Hotel scoops ‘Best Hotel’ at Swansea Life Awards

The Dragon Hotel’s Directors, Management and Staff were delighted to receive The Best Hotel award at the eagerly awaited Inaugural ‘Swansea Life’ Awards held at The National Waterfront Museum on December 5th.

In a glitzy affair of 200 nominees the tourism, leisure and hospitality industry of the Swansea Bay region celebrated the best in the trade. With fourteen different awards ranging from Best Event to Overall Winner, each category not only merited an outright winner but also several highly commended entrants from very diverse trade businesses within the area.

The short list for The Best Hotel Award also included Swansea Village Hotel and Morgan’s Hotel.

Tim Priestland, General Manager of The Dragon Hotel says of these accolades: “We were very happy and very surprised to have won and especially happy for all the staff here. We have won awards before, but nothing that was based around the recognition of our clients and customer base so completely”
