The long serving Keith Codd wins the team member of the month accolade for September, not only for his excellent services to The Dragon’s cellar and beverage management over a complete change in stock but also for overseeing (and literally getting his hands dirty) with the hotel’s new effort at recycling.
Over the summer period we’ve introduced a new system of handling our waste, so that we are now better than ever at recycling glass, cardboard, plastic, paper, tins and food waste.
As always, the transition hasn’t all been plain sailing and Keith has played a major part in making a success of the new initiatives.
Having worked at the hotel for over 22 years, Keith has seen many a change. ‘The progression over the years has been very interesting, with the hotel’s fabric, offering and staff having changed a lot over time. I would like to think that every change is for the better and as a member of the hotel’s Green Team I think it’s important that we’re recycling more’
