Early Bird enjoys coffee…
Once again The Dragon Hotel, Swansea is happy to be taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. HOWEVER, unlike previous years, our coffee morning will take place TWO WEEKS EARLIER than most.
‘We mustn’t forget the reason for the event’ says Denise Rees, the organiser for The Dragon Hotel, ‘The aim is to raise as much money as possible for this important charity and I have found over the last seven years of hosting an event that many people are unable to attend because they have other Macmillan Coffee Mornings to attend on the same day! This year we’re experimenting to see whether attendance will increase since it’s being held earlier!’
The event will take place in the lounge on the first floor of The Dragon Hotel from 10am until 12pm on Friday the 14th of September and will include a raffle, an opportunity to purchase cakes and of course your choice of tea or coffee. Last year the event raised over £400 – can we make it £500 this year? Come along and support!
