Ffos Las Racecourse

Ffos Las has brought top class racing back to West Wales for the first time since 1937. You can find it in the heart of Carmarthenshire between the towns of Llanelli and Carmarthen, only 15 minutes from junction 48 M4, and only an hour’s drive from the Irish Ferry terminals of Pembroke Dock and Fishguard.

The 600 acre racecourse is set in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales, amid fine views of the Gwendraeth Valley and Carmarthen Bay. It is almost impossible to believe that it is the former site of the largest open cast coal mine in Europe.

This year Ffos Las hosts 29 race meetings, with a mixture of Flat and National Hunt racing. And with the welcomed return of the ever-popular Ladies Night, Ladies Day, Caribbean Festival and Family Fun Days, there’s something for everyone.

Why not jump-start your racing experience by purchasing our inclusive package? For only £22 this package has everything you need to help make your day special including your entrance ticket, pint, carvery roll and race day programme. All you have to do is bring your betting money!
